A fresh 48 or newborn session
The Beheld is a documentary-style session designed to capture the raw, unfiltered reality of your first few hours or days together. Unlike traditional newborn photography, there are no props, no forced poses, and no "perfect" smiles required.
Whether your session takes place in the hospital or in the comfort of your own home, this session is about telling the story of your family during the transition of bringing a tiny, new life into the mix.

This session is for the parents who want to remember exactly how that tiny hospital bassinet looked or the way the morning light danced on the nursery wall while rocking your little one to sleep. It's for those who want to see the real connection - the way your fingers look against their tiny feet, or the way big brother or sister cautiously peeks over the crib.
If you want to look back and remember how these days felt, rather than just how they looked in a staged setting, this is for you.

The Beheld session includes:
- a meet & greet (in person, phone call or zoom call) *
- an in-depth session guide
- planning consultation (in person, phone call or zoom call) *
- in-hospital Fresh 48 session OR at-home Newborn session

- options to purchase prints, albums, frames & other printed goods
*while these are optional, they are highly recommended for the best Chaotically Crisp experience
what are the next steps?
1.let's chat!
Whether we meet up, or just send each other a few messages back & forth (I know life is busy & a meet up is not always in the cards!), let's stay in touch to answer any questions and get to know one another! Since babies come whenever they want to, we will set a tentative date for your Fresh 48 or Newborn session.
2.complete your booking
I will send over all the details to complete your booking, which includes:
- the invoice for a $150 nonrefundable retainer fee
- your contract
- an in-depth questionnaire that helps me get to know your family a little more!
In order to officially book your session, all three of these are due. The remainder of your invoice will be due one week before your session.
3.Plan your session
As your session gets closer, we will schedule a meet-up or call to start planning your session! We will go over your questionnaire and decide together what will work best to tell your family's unique story - whether that is a Fresh 48 or Newborn session.
4.keep me in the loop!
Again, since babies arrive on their own timeline and we will only have a tentative date on the schedule, communication is key! I will have your due date on my calendar and will block off time for your Fresh 48 or Newborn session! When baby is born, let me know and we will get your session officially scheduled!
