what is the storyteller?
An at-home or activity-based family session
Your story, your way. Every family has a unique story, and I’m here to document yours. I offer two distinct ways to tell your story:
The At-Home Storyteller Session: A documentary-style look at your everyday life. No matching outfits required—just you, your kids, and the space where you feel most like yourselves.
The Activity-based Storyteller Session: Let’s pick an adventure that means something to you. Whether it's a hike through the woods, a trip to the local ice cream shop, or a playing at the park, we’ll turn an activity into a core memory captured on camera.

These sessions are for families who want to remember the feeling of a season, not just what they looked like. They want to look back in twenty years and remember:
- The way their toddler gripped their thumb.
- The chaotic energy of a Sunday morning breakfast.
- The dirt on the knees of their adventurous middle-child.
If you want to look back and remember how these days felt, rather than just how they looked in a staged way, this is for you.
what's included in the storyteller?
a curated collection of the love that doesn't sit still.
The Storyteller session includes:
- a meet & greet (in person, phone call or zoom call) *
- an in-depth session guide
- planning consultation (in person, phone call or zoom call) *
- at-home OR activity-based session
- your full edited gallery
- print release for images
- options to purchase prints, albums, frames & other printed goods
*while these are optional, they are highly recommended for the best Chaotically Crisp experience
what are the next steps?
1.let's chat!
Whether we meet up, or just send each other a few messages back & forth (I know life is busy & a meet up is not always in the cards!), let's stay in touch to answer any questions and get to know one another! During this chatting phase, we will set a date for your session.
2.complete your booking
I will send over all the details to complete your booking, which includes:
- the invoice for a $150 nonrefundable retainer fee
- your contract
- an in-depth questionnaire that helps me get to know your family a little more!
In order to officially book your session, all three of these are due. The remainder of your invoice will be due one week before your session.
3.Plan your session
As your session gets closer, we will schedule a meet-up or call to start planning your session! We will go over your questionnaire and decide together what will work best to tell your family's unique story - whether that is at home, or on an adventure.
4.Session time
This is the easy part, promise. Forget the stiff poses and the "cheesing" for the camera. Whether we’re hanging out at your home or exploring on an adventure, my goal is to capture your family exactly as you are right now. We’ll play, laugh, and maybe even embrace a little chaos. I’ll be there to document the quiet cuddles and the loud giggles, documenting your family's unique story.
